La Table de L'Argentière

Stumbled upon this restaurant by the street of Melle, since it was lunch time, we decided to stop from our trip across the region. We were absolutely stunned by the quality of the food, as well as the interior of the restaurant, and how much attention to details have been put into. I took the menu where I had the pâté de volaille as a starter, then white fish with green sauce and mashed potato and they are just wonderful, I came back again at another time for dinner, and it's just wondeful, their wine selections are also great. Will definitely come back and bring my parents!

After a visit to the wonderful St Hilaire church we lunched here with our sister , following a recommendation by a friend. After a few days of record breaking high temperatures it was a relief to be seated outside in the shaded terrace. However we hadn't planned on the traffic noise which was intrusiveve. the meal was reasonably priced we chose the 17€ menu. the entre of parfait de legumes provenceauc with a roule de rai was delicious with stunning flavours, my brochettes was a little underdone for my liking and the nectarines in a lavender soup although wonderful flavours, the nectarines were not ripe enough, so disappointing
