Bidrage med feedbackI used to order from Tandoor Plus many years ago and would even drive there from work for lunch at times. Fast forward a few years and I’m back in the hood with a hankering for some good Indian food. I’m feeling lazy so I check out the Ubereats options and I’m like, I remember these guys! I ordered the mixed tandoori, the aloo gobi, palao rice, butter chicken, channa samosa. It’s a lot of food and it arrived hot and fresh. Every single item was utterly delicious and I greatly enjoyed it. I’m happy to support local eateries especially when they’re this good.
I go eat at this restaurant every 4 weeks with friends. Ya sure its not fancy inside but the food is just perfect. Top indian restaurant in Montreal for me. Service is super nice
I 've been to this restaurant many times while in Montreal and wrote a positive review about it for the first time visit to this restaurant. But, after my last visit to this restaurant a week ago, I will never go here again. We went in on a weekend where they were having some sort of weekend especial with biriyani. So the restaurant was busy with many customers. We decided to do takeout on our way to work and we placed the order of cheese naan and shrimp curry and my colleague ordered beef dish. We knew they were busy and we were waiting. About 45 mins go past, and we are still waiting. So we asked the girl who was serving us whether our food is ready, and she went by the kitchen window, asked the cook and told us it will be ready soon. So we waited. An hour and 10 mins go by, still no sign of our food. In the meantime we see the people from kitchen come out and socialize with the customers outside and there were many other customers who ordered after us are all being served. So we asked again saying that we are running late for work and whether our food is ready? After 1 hour and 35 mins, our food was given to us. Even if we would 've chose to dine-in , we would 've been probably done our dinner and on our way to work. There were no apology for taking so long and we cannot blame the girl who was serving us. We were so upset at the kitchen staff. We paid as soon as we ordered to food as well, had we known it would take so long to make the food, we would 've cancelled and left this place. We were late eventhough we had planned enough time for us to go here and grab our takeout. I dont know if it was a different management or the kitchen staff were just taking their sweet time, but atleast let us know hownlong it 's going to take or why is it being so late. But they just kept ignoring us and kept us waiting. Terrible service this time around. We will never ever go here again.
We were in Montreal for a work assignment and we decided to try this restaurant. When we went, it wasn't busy. First of all a big kudos to the young lady who welcomed us and served us. She was polite, courteous and always had a smile. She had excellent customer service skills and the way she took care of us is just amazing. We ordered garlic naan, chicken biriyani, lentil soup and salty lassi. The food was delivered to us in quicktime. The naan was so delicious and the soft. The tenderness of the naan was superb. The biriyani had lots of flavour and tastes really good. The soup was very rich in flavour, very filling and amazing. The pricing was the best part. All the food we ordered were very reasonably priced and the portions were reasonable sized as well. Overall, we had an amazing meals for very reasonable price. We were extremely satisfied with the taste, the quality, the quantity and most of all the excellent service provided by the young lady. We'll definitely be returning to this restaurant before we leave Montreal and also in our future visits.
Great korma, naan, etc. They even went out of their way to whip up a sauce for the chicken tikka when we asked for it. Got out meal for take out in about 25 minutes.
