Slocum & Ferris - Saint John

We were strolling through the city market and stumbled upon this little deli style restaurant . It was still morning but we are from Pa so the time was different and we wanted lunch, so I asked if they would make a cheese steak sub...at that time of day and they were more than happy to do so. I have to say it was one of the most scrumptious cheese steaks I have ever had. So if you are in the area stop in and try them out.

Fantastic deli in the heart of the Saint John City market. David the owner adds a particularly charming flavour and character to the place. A home away from home!

A local suggested we eat here for breakfast and I'm glad we did. All the plates that ordered my party were really good (balls with eggs, full breakfast, veggie sandwich). The staff was also very friendly and gave us funny suggestions for...to do things in Saint John. Would definitely go back.

The best breakfast sandwich ever. I had steak and eggs. Friend had fresh bagel and cream cheese... fresh and delicious. Encourage visiting St. John Market to have a similar great experience.
