Restaurante O Telheiro - Sagres

Nunca tinha sido tão discriminada por ser portuguesa.Com mesas vazias na esplanada a senhora decidiu que o nosso lugar era dentro do restaurante porque apanhávamos com sol e passados literalmente 2 minutos a mesa já servia para os estrangeiras.Enfim, a comida é boa mas o preço não justifica.Se não for estrangeiro ou conhecido da casa não arrisque.

Lovely view but that is all I can say. Our drinks came quickly but as for our food it took well over an hour and then our food was stone cold!! We were not going to send it back and wait another hour!! This was a real disappointment!!

Interesting reading people's comments. This is a bit of an odd place to review, but we had a very good meal. A little pricey for the Algarve, but well worth it. We only intended to have a light lunch, but a very nice waitress that spoke excellent English showed us the fresh crab and my friend and i were convinced! What a great decision. It was freshly cooked and dressed to perfection! Far too much and could easily be shared. We took half home, and enjoyed it again. My husband had a huge dish of fresh mussels, washed down with a fresh Vino Verde. Excellant.

Spectacular setting. Lunch on the expensive side but good. But WHY are all the staff wearing stupid masks on a scorching day? Embarrassing and useless

We were a party of seven (two families with kids) on a sunny Sunday. As soon as we got in for lunch, we noticed everyone looked scary and lost. After being seated it took over one hour to get served; when asking what was going wrong, their answer was that we came in the worst moment ever, since everyone was coming and ordering at the same time . Pretty strange for a restaurant by the sea on a sunny Sunday... to make things worse, they had not realised that 2 dishes of spaghetti were missing, so they had to rush and cook them ...and we had been seating for over 90 minutes. Lack of professionality. Food quality is nothing special, great view but it doesn 't offset all the troubles we had to face. To be avoided!
