Yokohama Yakitori Koubou - S San Diego

Good spot for grilled skewers but nothing seemed to really shine except the chicken thighs. Everything was grilled to medium doneness which made beef items a little more tougher. Maybe they need to cook closer to the coals, the beef tongue and beef short ribs were a bit overcooked could greatly benefit if cooked to medium rare. Service was good. The atmosphere felt lively.

Excellent authentic yakitori using juicy Jidori chicken, this place will always be my favorite
