Sea Sky - S San Diego

We had the bone marrow, tuna carpacio, and crab cake apps. The crab cake is not worth $40 should have been at least 2 for that price. The bone marrow is kind of weird just very gelatinous and only 4 tostados was not enough. The cocktails tasted watered down. My scallops were cooked perfectly, but kind of swam in a soup of bacon and cheese broth, which seemed odd. No sides were on the menu and no sides were served with our scallops, so we were starving. The steak was very good and came with potatoes. There was no bread offered and none to pay for either. The dessert menu was very small, and lacked anything I found to be appetizing. Beautiful view, decor felt a little cold and cafeteria like, needs some warmth. Overall, place needs work, we won't be dining again.

For the entrée, I opted for the grilled pork chops, which were cooked to perfection. . My date chose the seared Scallops, which was equally impressive. With the setting sun it created a magical setting. In every aspect, Sea Sky exceeded our expectations. From the breathtaking views and premium wine to to the savory fare and impeccable service, . Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a romantic date, Sea Sky is a gem that promises an unforgettable evening.

Sadly are experience at Sea Sky was poor. The view is amazing. That's not to be denied, but the food is extremely overpriced. The noise level is deafening and the kitchen had issues with timing. Our waiter Arthur did try his best. In spite of the obvious issues he had to address in order to be successful. The Manager as a gesture of acknowledgment of the problems brought us “Single lamb chop“ Which we found quite insulting! The food was fine to a point, the steak was cooked cooked perfectly and was delicious But there were no vegetables or even the offer of the side of vegetables as a possibility. The pork chop, was also cooked perfectly buy there was no explanation as to the fact that the pork chop was supposed to be incorporated with the various elements on the plate. As for the scallops, they were cold actually everything on the plate was cold. So in the end, the chances of us returning our nil!

Service was really good, Arturo was an amazing server and made our experience great! Scallops were amazingggg! G makes the best scallops 10/10 . The oysters were also great flavorful! The chocolate bailey drink was so good! I recommend coming here!! ?

Although our food was delicious (tuna sliders and chicken sandwich), the view was spectacular and the service good, we were not happy with the menu selections at lunch. There was only 1 salad and it had spicy salami. Each of the sandwiches came with fries and no other option. It was not ideal for choosing healthy eating options.
