Staff really dope bought a few while down here for a trip and nothing gets me more hyped than getting these deserts

Everything we got was delicious! However, the price was a little far fetched for our taste, and doesn't really look like the advertised photos. I think we paid $9 for one small pudding? It was all tastey, just a little pricey for what we were getting!

This Capsule at Cafe Maiko has it's own Yelp page? Neat.I recently started noticing that they started selling Kokonut pudding and had to try some. At $9 a pop, it better be good.While I have read and heard it isn't made fresh anymore, it still was delicious from my end. Maybe a bit on the sweet side for me, so I am inspired to try making my own with less sugar.You are offered coconut topping when you're buying these do not skip out! I'm a texture eater, so without that contrast in texture the pudding might have been a little to soft for my palette. Nevertheless, the coconut flavor was there.My wife did express in the Mango one, that the fruit takes over and the coconut flavor is a little less noticeable.Overall, tastes great, maybe a little too sweet for my personal opinion and at $9 a jar it's hard to enjoy too often.

This place is head and shoulders above any other matcha place that I’ve been to. They use ceremonial grade matcha for their recipes and you can definitely taste the difference. The Maiko Special came highly recommended so we tried two versions, one with Matcha soft serve and the other with Hojicha soft serve which delivered a sweet toasted chocolate flavour. The menu assortment was plentiful and you could order your favorite Matcha tea, latte, frapppe or floats. The staff and ambience were outstanding. We can’t wait to come back!

Not what it used to be. They stopped making their coconut pudding fresh. So instead of fresh fruit on top, the fruit is submerged in the pudding and kept for days. Really sucks because at $9+ per dessert you expect the quality and freshness to be there. Not to mentioned they altered the recipe to make it sweeter. They've officially lost us as customers and we went there every other week basically. :
