Bidrage med feedbackI had the beef tongue taco , my daughter had the steak and I got my son the chicken.
The food was authentic Mexican food. The tacos were jam packed with chicken
Chorizo taco was okay $2). Al pastor sope was very good $3), as was the al pastor Gordita $3). Good find!
The server was extremely awful, she asked for my ID and I gave her my Drivers Licence (btw is in English and Spanish) but she kept asking for an American ID , I 'm from a foreign country and I 'm on vacation so obviously don 't have one, so I offer a photo of my passport which she refused to see since it wasn 't an American passport. I have never felt this discriminated before, horrible experience!!
We stopped at Cabo Fish Taco on our way into Lynchburg to grab dinner and it was amazing! We weren 't sure what to expect as far as portions go so we ordered the shrimp and crab dip appetizer and highly recommend it. Seriously, do not pass it up! The pita was amazing and the dip had visible chunks of shrimp and crab in it. I wish we had ordered two! We did order two different taco specials with different sides so we could share and while we enjoyed both, we agreed that the garlic buffalo shrimp was the better of the two. The bbq mahi was good as well, but it was a little spicier than we were anticipating. (Don 't let the mango in the name fool you! We also both liked the black beans and rice more than the jalapeño cheddar mashers. All that being said, this place is on point and we both want to come back to try other tacos so it 's landed a spot in my Favorite Foods Found While Traveling collection!
