Vera Asian - Royal Oak

I love the food because it's fresh, and the service is quick and friendly. I'm dropping one star because the spice level of the food is really inconsistent. I always order pad thai. 50% of the time, the spice level seems to be what most Thai restaurants would rate as a medium spice, so that is what I have come to expect when I order it. But the other 50% of the time, it either has no spice at all (and tastes very bland) or it is way too spicy that my mouth feels like it's on fire. I know everyone has their own personal level of spice that they find enjoyable, but I wish the spice level could just be consistent here.

This place is great for carry out, but they also have a small but cool dining area. Prices are pretty good and the food is amazing! Service is also good, workers are nice, and you get to see your food being made!

The food and service here is great! The vegetables seem really fresh and the sauces are delicious. Everything I've gotten has been good. The sesame chicken is my personal favorite so far.

Fantastic food. My only recommendation for the restaurant is to add some pictures/descriptions to their online ordering for the types of sauces (such as “Tokyo”, “Hong Kong”, etc) and bases (such as “Soba”, “vermicelli”, etc). Whenever I order, I have google open in another tab so I can do some research while ordering.
