El Jefe - Rowlett

Dear El Jefe! We have been eating here since El Comer from the main road (before the fire). I love the food and the family it owns and operates! They always remember us and welcome us when we come! One of my family's favorite restaurants!!

We love it!! This is our hometown of Mexican food and Harry are Irene like family for us! Our daughters worked in El Centro Downtown Rowlett. This is our very popular place to eat! We also supplied them and it was extraordinary! You can't go wrong eating with this amazing family!

It was great at the first meal! Harry, one of the owners was very nice and delivered to us within 15 minutes. Food was great and an excellent price too, I definitely recommend the Margaritas!

I give a 4-star, but it's more than 3.5. Good food, average service. No ton of seating, no bar seats, no outside seats. Salsa's kind of lame. Chips are good.

Finally tried El Jefe and was pleased. Kids had the chicken strips and fries and wife and I shared an enchilada, taco plate, tamale plate. Very filling. Good margaritas too.
