Food was great, people were nice. The price of the food is extremely high. Over 40.00 for breakfast for 2 people is a bit overwhelming in my book! Sorry but don't think we will be
Wow!!! This place was an example of exemplary service. After having a not so friendly experience with another local establishment... I stumbled across Dominic's Diner! The diner is a small mom-pop business. I came into the diner about 45 minutes before close time. I was greeted with friendly, hospitable, and appreciative staff! The diner is newly decorated with hometown Pittsburgh pride decor. The waitress had an amazing super cool personality! She was very attentive to our table's needs. Prompt service, refills, menu suggestions, and accurate order taking to name a few. The other restaurant staff were very helpful and assisted when needed. It is very clear that they work as a team! I was impressed that not only my server but all the staff were down-to-earth and cool to chat with. Now, the food was absolutely delicious and so filling! The homemade sausage is an absolute game changer for your breakfast plate. Juicy and seasoned to perfection! Prices are reasonable to other restaurants in the area but Dominic's portion sizes are plentiful! The total atmosphere of this place helped change my irritated attitude into gratitude for the service received! It was like having breakfast at your family's home! My whole dining experience was superb! I will definitely be a returning customer.
My favorite diner in Pittsburgh. The sausage is homemade (and killer), the portions big, and the foods always tasty. Always worth a
Looking for a hometown, down-to-earth diner? Search no more. Established in 2021, this small, law enforcement/military-friendly restaurant serves breakfast and lunch (closed Monday/Tuesday). The breakfast menu is not very big and prices are a bit higher than what you 'd expect for diner grub, but rest assured you 're likely to get two meals out of whatever you order. I went with the veggie omelette, which was served with home fries, and I could only eat half of it. The omelette was essentially a plain egg omelette stuffed with veggies, which is different. I 'm used to having diced veggies mixed into the eggs, but Dominic 's does it differently and that 's okay. My partner got the Big Mike breakfast sandwich and it was, as expected, big. We took half of it home. Overall, we had a good experience at Dominic 's. Friendly staff and good food. Just note that there 's limited parking out front.
