Bidrage med feedbackNormally the food is amazing. Tonight not so good. Cost more, quantity less, quality poor. Baked beans we're hard, baked potato casserole had no cheese, no bacon bits, and no onions. Under cooked dinner rolls. Let's try it again Dickeys I'll beback.
Staff was super friendly with great suggestions on the menu for us newbies. The creamy spinach (of all things to rave about at a BBQ joint! was fabulous! The jalapeño cheese kielbasa had a super late kick!
I hesitantly went back today because I like bbq and didn 't need a big sit down dinner. The previous few times I went in they had a sign on the door listing what they were out of. It was more than what they had in stock! Particularly confusing was thembeing out of big bakers when there is a grocery store in the same parking lot! Go buy some potatoes until the delivery comes in.Not rocket science. Probably the reason they are called previous owners . The new owners are nice and want to provide a goodexperience. They going to have to rebuild that business from scratch. I hope they can because I get tired of the rotationbetween pizza, hamburger or taco places for a quick meal. I haven 't had everything on the menu of course but at least it is instock. I look forward to going back for other items on the menu.
My visit here today was good, it was nice to meet the new owner of the location. So the location has a few things that still need to be ironed out like: cabinet door in dining area needs to be fixed, a few of the original vinyl seats need repairs,bathrooms should have a cleaning log especially with new COVID mandates(disinfected every 30 mins), floors could use a throughcleaning with buffing machine to remove sticky residue. One pet peeve I have is working employees should be informed if onlunch they should be in back seating area not the first table at the entry, if location does not have a actual lunch area forthem. Overall it was good but still needs a little more to be great, I am glad previous employees were let go an hope new hireshave proper Dickey's Barbecue Pit training proper customer service and look the part for the place they represent becauseAirpods, basic shirt, saging pants, crocs and proper hygiene is a must. Thank you again for a nice lunch much appreciated!
I am extremely unhappy with my latest visit. When I was paying for my food the clerk told me that my card did not go through even though everything seemed to. Hesitantly I ran my card a second time. While waiting for my food I checked my online bankingand sure enough just as I suspected there were two charges for my order. I informed the manager/ owner and she assured me theduplicate charge would not go through but was only pending. The next morning I checked my bank account and both charges wentthrough and processed. I immediately called Dickys and spoke to the same manager/ owner and again she said that she would fix itimmediately and reverse the charge. I have waited all week and still this hasn't been fixed so I now will have to go through mybank to try and get my money back. This is absolutely unacceptable and makes me wonder if this is a common occurrence at thisrestaurant. I wonder how many people have been double charged and never noticed? All I can say is I will not return to thislocation. I was a weekly regular customer but I will not return after this.
