Bidrage med feedbackEvery time I visit Rosenheim I make sure I visit Enchilada. The food is always perfect and the atmosphere is fantastic. The service is second to none.
The Enchilada ia a place to meet old friends for drinks, it's always crowded and loud. Nothing bad, but I would not recommend to eat there. Drinks are fine and don't miss the happy hour
Cocktails Menu is what brought us to Enchilada. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt. We ordered Margaritas and Mojito as drinks and Nachos, Burritos and Burger for the food. All of that was ordered came in quick time. A special mention for the Burritos...and also the Burger. The taste was indeed lip smacking. The cocktails were also well made with the right mix of alcohol and the other drinks. Worth a visit!
I think I have pretty high standards when it comes to Mexican food. I've had some truly excellent Mexican food in places like New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. So up against that, I sometimes am disappointed by the Mexican food I get at home in...the US, far closer to Mexico than Germany. I haven't eaten a whole lot of Mexican food outside of North America, but some of the most bland I've ever had has been on another continent. Enchilada is not that kind of Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. We went there one night for dinner. We arrived somewhat late, but they were still open and there were several tables occupied by people eating. The restaurant seemed to be a fairly popular place to hang out on the weeknight we were there. As is often the case, parking was difficult, but we lucked out and got a space across the street. They had a fair selection of local beers and a pretty extensive menu. I got an enchilada platter which included two enchiladas, Mexican rice, a few chips and a little salad. The enchiladas came with a little chili on them, unusual, but it worked. My meal tasted good, and had a good flavor to it. My wife got a plate of nachos which turned out to be absolutely massive, but very good and loaded with toppings. Overall, we liked this place. Their Mexican food is quite good and though I have had better closer to Mexico, I think it does the cuisine justice. If I were in the area, I would go here again.
All in all, this place is good. I would definitely visit again. The food was good. After we ordered our food wad on the table within minutes. The cocktails (alcohol free for us) were really good. We tried the el nino. The cosy was...reasonable: each for the meal (enchiladas). The beverages were a bit pricey imo The food was good, but not mind blowing, hence just the stars. But a nice location, quick service and decent grub
