Bidrage med feedbackThe dim sums here are very delicious, especially the Har Gow and Shiu Mai. Service here is good too! :
Had dim sum. Just slightly better quality than nearby Monterey Palace however some of the dim sum tasted bland. Of course expensive as hell. Service was not really good- waiters not attentive and not friendly at all. And wth is up with the ginormous tv screen of huge fugly Chinese faces eating/mukbanging?? is that supposed to make me want to order more food?
The food became very nasty or is it just me with a different taste? I used to go to the restaurant almost every week, because I love their food, but today I waited an hour for a order to go with only four items, two repeated and it came to me in a horrible packaging. The front desk was also treating me horribly, she told me if I was only ordering two things, I can go next door, and when I returned saying I don't have cash, she was like, oh, you don't even have cash? it's probably my last time going there. very disappointed with the food and service. it's not the first time Ive received poor service and food.
The place was very nice and felt fancy. They had plenty of parking! The food was okay though as well as some of the cutlery were dirty. Some dishes were either bland or really salty, like the dao miao (stir fried pea shoots w garlic) we got. We got a salted egg version of the king crab and it was different, but nothing special. The clams were my favorite as it was the perfect amount of flavor and very clean. The vermicelli with the king crab was a nice touch. I liked it more than the crab itself. I'm rating this two stars because the service was absolutely HORRIBLE! It took forever (over 15 mins) for someone to take our order. They even forgot to take down some dishes we mentioned. Then they even forgot some dishes that were on the order sheet, and when we tried to cancel it because it didn't show up for a while (at least over 20 minutes after the last dish we received realized we didn't get everything), they said no, it's already being made...AND WORST OF ALL, the waiter YELLED at my family saying it's all our fault and stormed off. We didn't think his attitude at the beginning of the night would continue and end like this, but we were wrong. We are never coming back here. The only thing special about this place would be the king crab but it ain't worth what we had to endure. To top it all off, it was my grandpa's birthday, so it will forsure be in our memory for a looong time.
I'm still searching for our family go to dim sum and was hopeful Longo would work. Invited two friends to join our little family of three and ordered the standard favorites, chicken feet, siumai, and har gow and everything was good, no issues. Nice sizes, tasty items...until we got raw cold shrimp inside of a black colored seafood dumpling. I bit into the dumpling and saw gray shrimp my dear friend is pregnant so we were concerned for her and luckily I caught it before she ate the dumpling. We showed the staff and someone took it away very quickly. It took a while before we received the replacement and it seemed sloppily made, not a tightly wrapped or well made dumpling. Further, we were never brought our beef noodle dish. It seemed that they possibly gave it to the table next to us, so we told them since all of our food already arrived and we were waiting so long we no longer wanted the noodles. We ended up having to speak to deal with three different staff to cancel. One staff told us it was too late the dish was ready, another said they would check and never came back, and one lady was very helpful and assured us it was removed from the check and not coming out. Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here so I cannot recommend it.
