Bidrage med feedbackWe come here almost 1-2 times a week but I came here on a Saturday and I ordered 3 sandwiches and add on eggs and they took forever and even 5 people that ordered after me got there damn sandwiches first! So if you don't want to wait or get skipped then don't add eggs! ALSO IF U TIP THE YOUNG LADY $20 (cash register) she would skip everyone n give u your sandwich first!
I was at Phu's Bakery getting po tats and then saw this across the street. I didn't know they had another location and this one was cleaner/newer/bigger. I came at an off time around 2pm so the banh mi I ordered took no more than a few minutes. Bagguete was good and fillings were maxed out like always. This time, I tried their pandan tapioca cake dessert and it was delicious. You can taste the pandan without it being overly sweet and the texture is similar to chewy mochi. It's going to be a staple for me any time I come by for a banh mi now.
I've been coming to this place and it's various stores since I was a kid. Best bahn mi I've ever had, period, with fresh bread that's crusty but not too hard and extremely delicious grilled pork.
First time trying banh mi, I had no idea what to expect. I ordered a pork banh mi at my coworkers recommendation. It was so tasty! The flavors combined to make both a savory and fresh sandwich (i loved the fresh cilantro). They also pack a punch with some hits of spice. Glad I got to try something new and would return again to try other dishes.
The best Vietnamese sandwiches you will find in Rosemead I promise you! Prices are just a cherry on top.
