Luzborough House - Romsey

We arrived here in a very busy lunchtime and could clearly see the 2 employees we have thrown away from their feet. however, they were still able to offer great customer service and take our orders and make our drinks in a contemporary home. when it came to our eating, it was clear that it was a few times under the heat lamp, which was not a mistake of the staff again, but perhaps the company should rethink the number of employees needed on a midday shift.

Great lunch today. We had the sharing platter for two which I could have had as a main meal then we had the mussels and scampi for our main courses. Only disappointment was the armchairs we where put in for the meal they where too low but the service and the food was great so all round a very good experience.

I was really impressed with my experience. I came in with my two daughters for a quick bite to eat, and it turned out to be a great choice! The kitchen was a bit overwhelmed that day, so they weren't able to serve food in the garden. However, the girls were thrilled to have a place to play, and the gentleman at the bar kindly instructed one of the servers to reserve a table for us while we waited outside. The garden had a nice setup with a great climbing frame and slides, which kept my daughters very happy. Once we got our food, it was delicious. I was particularly impressed by the staff; they were well-trained and friendly, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.

The pub is quite large and offers a wide variety of menu options. However, on the day we visited, there were no burgers available. We placed our order through an app, which I found a bit complicated to navigate, but that might just be my lack of tech skills. For instance, I had to ask a staff member about the 'mushy bäsen' because the menu mentioned it as an option, but the app only had 'rural' or 'no rural' as choices. Despite these hiccups, the staff were cheerful and friendly.

This is a lovely pub with a spacious layout. There was a mix-up with our booking, but the staff handled it efficiently and with a great sense of humor. It’s easy to be on point when everything goes smoothly, but it’s impressive how they managed things when challenges arose. These young people really know what they’re doing. Thank you for a pleasant dining experience! I wouldn't hesitate to make a reservation again, as I’ve been here often and have always enjoyed excellent service.
