Elbarrio Restaurant - Romeoville

Great food and wonderful service. The only part of this place was that when I asked for coffee, they don't have one. The food was delicious and full of taste. I definitely recommend for lunch, but not a breakfast place because of coffee. I'll come back.

Excellent Authentic Mexican Food. Large family shares for low cost

Best Mexican tacos around the area, highly recommended.

Not from the area, we were looking for a good, fast Mexican food on the way home. There were several options near this area and we chose this because it looked like it was small (not busy) and fast. When I came in, I was surprised to see all tables with Diners. Nevertheless, the friendly staff welcomed me with a smile and set my order, which was pretty fast ready as I waited in the car. I was impressed by their authentic options for Tacos, Sopes and Gorditas. The chorizo con papas torta, chicarron gordita, rajas con queso taco and chile relleno taco were great, their red and green salsa was tasteful. The veggie burrito was huge and tasty, but could have used some more varieties like Rajas in it. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area and change it.

Burrito can definitely feed 2 people and the steak was delicious, perfectly cooked and the seasoning omg! Totally coming back...I live in Chicago, worth the drive!!
