The Half Rel Kitchen - Rochester

Four couples came together on Saturday evening to dinner in the half barrel. we have really arrived, the cocktails were beautiful and really delicious. the escapes we ordered were delicious. the service was attentive and friendly. that was a delightful evening.

We had a reservation around seven and sat around seventeen. it took an hour and fifteen until we got food. I would have expected a kind of comp. that said our meal was good and our server was friendly. I guess they were underweight for a Saturday.

We went on a Saturday night, and it was quite a full restaurant. the drink selection was great, our calamari was frozen food/tonne of teig/ not the best. our waiter was not attentive and difficult to find when we needed him. we waited for half an hour for our meals, which were good, but not all that made me wait to say that.

Our group enjoyed a lot of delicious dine options, including some gluten free options. our server was fantastic and accommodating.

The food and service were both excellent and this is one of my favorite places in Rochester. I sat at the bar, and had a beer. I ate the French Onion Soup which was excellent and I am picky about French Onion Soup. I also had a wonderful fresh salad! Yum! I will be back.
