Montesano's Pizza - Rochester

Wonderful, friendly people, great food, perfect service. This place rocks!!!!

Agreed that the owner is a atmospheric guy and his wife is similar. But her son is brilliant, who is most of the time. Bottom line, when he makes your food, it becomes amazing and he is generously crowded. They seem to be neighboring restaurants that I thought were inappropriate. The pizza is not amazing, but the calzone is the best! We get 3 meals from one!!!! If you want wings, take them over the street.

Good and cheap. They have big subs and pizzas and can produce masses quite quickly they had 6 sheets of pizzas ready in under an hour. While some pizza may be better, the family is owned and usually nice in the family business in the small town of the rush.

Amazing! Nothing like homemade sauce from the best tomatoes grown in California, along with homemade sausage with wonderful fennel taste. Well worth the 6 mile detour from I-90! There is a sweet outdoor dining area. Don't let the little restaurant fool you. Montesano's provides generous portions, great taste and love in the kitchen of great hearts. Remember the small Italian restaurants in my hometown of Eat Boston. The best food ever!

Very friendly. Yummy food. Comfortable to take children. Would be great in warmer weather to eat at picnic tables.
