Bidrage med feedbackI love New York Subs and have been eating here most of my life. The Philly Cheese Steaks are the best. You have to try their hand-cut fries.
Ive been eating there for years. Always great service, clean, fast and always what you ordered. Price is totally reasonable and youre getting more than what you pay for. I watched a whole potato be turned into my fries right before my eyes.
I tried out New York Sub for the first time this weekend during lunch. I ordered for myself and my boyfriend 2 Philly Steak subs, fries and drinks. The staff was not rude, but was also not overly friendly. I noticed after getting the order to the table that we were missing a sub. It was lunch hour, and they were busy, so I didn't have time to get this corrected, so we just split a sub and went on with the day. The sub was very much what you would expect from a cheesesteak, greasy, cheesy, pretty delicious. I would prefer a slightly more peppered taste, but that's just a personal preference, and doesn't detract from the quality of the sub. The fries were heavily seasoned with garlic and pepper, perhaps a bit too much garlic flavor. I enjoyed the attempted flavor, but unfortunately they were not cooked completely thoroughly, leaving a bit of an odd raw potato texture at points. Overall I would try them again to see if the next experience is better, because I feel they have great potential, and this may have just been an off day.
Awesome food. They put their heart in every thing they make. Thanks New York Subs
On my last couple visits, I have discovered the New York Subs version of the Gyro. Instead of having a traditional sub, this Greek sandwich is served on a pita and comes with lamb, lettuce, tomato, cheese and tzatziki. Everything is cooked to order and the grilled pita and slices of lamb are delicious. The tenderness and spices in the lamb really come through with the other ingredients, particularly the creamy tzatziki sauce. To go along with the sandwiches and wraps, New York Subs serves freshly cooked French fries. This heaping amount of fries, which is also made to order, is tossed in salt and pepper and other seasonings that I believe includes crack-cocaine because these things are quite addictive. The portion sizes of the gyro and fries are more than generous and this could probably serve as your only meal for the day. And the Gyro combo, which includes the gyro, fries, and drink, costs about $9.00.
