Seasons 52 - River Hill

Great time. Rita was great. Came in for drinks and dessert but ended up also ordering appetizers. Had the watermelon tomato salad which was so good. The meatballs with the warm pita was amazing. The Philly cheesesteak flatbread was quite tasty too. Also had the pineapple cosmopolitan. Ended up getting some mini desserts including the seasonal tiramisu which was really good.

We have dined at Seasons 52 Columbia on many occasions over the years. Although service has been uneven in the past, last evening our server was attentive and friendly. The food is very good and of high value and last evening was no exception. The lamb loin and trout stand out.

Food was excellent as always. So were the cocktails. Unfortunately for the first time since we've been going there the service was astonishingly slow. Especially noticeable at the end of the night when as one of the few remaining tables we still waited a long time for the dessert samples and for the check. Won't put us off coming, but made for a longer than 2 hour dinner.

It was a Father's Day outing. We sat outside and everything took long from the service to the food. They had no silverware for guests when the food was served. I have been to this Seasons 52 on several occasions with a good experience, but this one time was disappointing. .

Our server, Zack, made our Father's Day celebration everything we anticipated. He was knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions. He was attentive and very personable. The food was amazing too! ?? We'll be back, and we'll ask for Zack.
