The battered cod is delicious, as well as the scampi, and the chips were just the way I like them. This place has the best fish and chips in Hampton.

We have frequented this Chippy many times and have never had any reason to complain. However, during a recent visit, we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. At 6:30 pm, which is typically a busy time, there were only two customers waiting. We ordered Fish and Chips to go, but upon returning home, we realized that the chips were brown and shriveled, most likely from that morning and reheated. It was disappointing to have a once enjoyable meal ruined. Has the restaurant changed ownership or are they cutting corners due to tough times? Has anyone else noticed this decline in quality?

This restaurant serves the best fish and chips with excellent service! I have been a long-time patron and have never been disappointed. The prices are fair and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. I was initially concerned when the business changed ownership, but the new family running it is just as fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant, although it can get busy, the wait is definitely worth it.

Started going here after our local got taken over. Always a queue and always fresh and food portions.

A last minute dash to the fish and chip shop when I realised I hadn't actually got much in to cook for dinner. What a great plan that was we had cod and chips, plaice and chips and some onion rings. Giant portions, couldn't finish it all but every mouthful was enjoyable. Hot, freshly cooked, crispy, not too greasy just like fish and chips should be!
