Shinta Japanese Bbq - Richmond Hill

If you are looking for an unique AYCE Japanese BBQ experience, you must try this place. Highly recommend to make a reservation before come and take some time to find a Parking space in the parking lot of the plaza.The beef and pork here are very fresh and juicy. We were amazed for every beef and pork that we ordered, all of them was well marinated and seasoned. Wagyu is really authentic and tasty and it remembers my trip to Japan. We haven't tried much of the cold dishes, so I can't tell anything about that or give some suggestions.This place is very clean and not greasy compared to some other bbq restaurants. It is a plus and keep the place like this. I highly recommend this place.

Came here on a weekday. It was not very crowded and we immediately got seated without a reservation. Food was okay, especially the Angus beef. I really enjoyed the sake clams as well. But try to avoid the cold appetizers (tofu salad and vinegar tomato), which gave me diarrhea. My friend didn't try those and she was fine. Service was friendly and attentive.

Parking in the evening was a bit hard to find as the lot was packed on a Thursday, would recommend to come a few mins early. Came here as a group of 4 with a reservation and we were presented with a table with 2 grills which is a huge plus. We chose the silver menu on a recommendation and the selection was still great. The beef could have a bit more marination as eating as is was okay. The seasonings provided on the table did help elevate the flavours. Service was one of the best I have been to so far with reordering and pretty quick grill changes. Overall I would recommend for a celebration or a once in a while choice if choosing a bbq place. Best Japenese BBQ experience ever! Wasn't aware my 2 hours were up until a staff approached me for last call. The staff there were friendly and courteous felt like VIP throughout my stay. Service was surprisingly quick hardly need to wait for my orders to be delivered. The food were lightly seasoned, so I didn't feel the need to chuck down water to rinse the salt. I chose the Black tier for AYCE and I was highly satisfied, I can only imagine how much more satisfying the higher tiers will be.

I appreciate for the outstanding dining experience I had at Shinta (Richmond Hill . Especially, Irene and Karen provided the exceptional service during our visit to your restaurant on July 24. They greeted us with a warm smile. Throughout the meal, they were attentive and make sure that we had everything we needed. The exceptional service they provided has left an impressive impression on us. We will come back again :
