Bidrage med feedbackCame to a little town nearby for a business trip, and the local guys recommended this place to us. We had a good time here. I would give it. Five star if the service is better. The service is not bad, but I'd expect more prompt service considering the restaurant is not full at all on a week day night. The food and drink are very good. We got Goat Cheese ball and cheese cigar for appetizer. The goat cheese ball is not bad; the cheese cigar is very yummy. The crispy wonton wrap and chewy cheese filling work together perfectly. For entree, I got shrimp and grits with Brussel sprouts and zucchini as sides. The shrimp is very tasty and Cajun vegetables with grits are flavorful. The sausage in the dish is too salty for me. I couldn't finish the sausage due to the saltiness. My table speak highly about Country Boy beer too. They have good dessert menu too. I'd recommend the bourbon chocolate mousse.
Came here to celebrate a birthday. Despite it being a Saturday night, it was not very busy. Our group ended up having an area all to ourselves. Our drinks came out and as the server was making his way, he spilt his tray of ice water down my back. He was apologetic, but it didn 't change the fact that I had to sit and eat my meal in cold, damp clothes. The food was mediocre and service was close to non existent. I ordered a salad, but my dressing did not come out with it. I initially ordered a balsamic vinaigrette, but requested ranch once the vinaigrette came out. It looked like an unappetizing chocolate pudding. Luckily, the salad I ordered had fruit so it was somewhat edible without dressing. I had already finished most of it when my ranch came. Definitely not worth the drive from Lexington.
Food: All three of our party members enjoyed the food. Being the less adventurous of the three I just had a cheeseburger, but it was very good. Ambiance/Atmosphere: Definitely feels high-end in this restaurant. Fireplace, nice decor, etc.It would be a great place for a romantic date, celebration, or even business dinner. Price: For what the ambiance is, the price is quite affordable. Not expensive at all, which is a surprise considering how nice it is inside. Service: No complaints; friendly and quick/efficient waitress.
I've been here a few times with my partner. The ambiance is very lovely for a date evening. Overall the drinks and appetizers are amazing, while the entrees lack a little bit. My partner loves their mint juleps and we will both sing praises of the crab cakes. The bread and sides were also lovely. We will probably come back again, but it is a little sad that entrees don't seem to match the price. Overall a positive experience.
I would honestly have to say over evening tonight would have to be overall one of the best dinners ever. The atmosphere was perfect, our waitress was awesome, our drinks were great tried the Amelie and our food was wonderful! Would defiantly come again when we are in town!
