La Buvette - Richmond

The changing menu at La Buvette always offers a good value. We tend to mix items in the fixed price menu with the a la carte desserts. It was quiet, but with a good ambience when we visited on Tuesday. Since the dining area is quite small, it can be a little loud when most or all tables are occupied. The waiter seemed a little nervous, so the score for the service. The food was as always very good.

We were a table of 6 and each of us had a really good evening. Everyone was really happy with his food and the service was amazing. I always had a very good meal in La Buvette.

We love the steak frites that comes with a large portion of salad. As a regular customer, the Aperitifi is free! Baguette and butter are also free. As a dessert we always choose the Cafe Gourmant, a perfect selection consisting of a few small desserts and a coffee of your choice. La Buvette is not cheap, but we are happy after dinner, so good worth the money.

La Buvette never disappoints. Food is always of a great standard and the environment feels special, particularly on warm days when you can sit in the covered courtyard. It's great that you can have a conversation here rather than competing with music. The service is friendly and professional, and atmosphere very pleasant.
