Bidrage med feedbackI have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since 2008, and over the years they have consistently served high-quality food. My go-to order has always been the 10-inch special, which used to be quite large and satisfying. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed to see that the portion size had significantly decreased. Despite the increase in prices, I was willing to overlook it due to inflation. When I questioned the lady who made my burrito, she reassured me that it was still the 10-inch special. Sadly, I couldn't help but express my disappointment at the noticeable reduction in size since my last visit about 4 months ago. This change was disheartening, especially after recommending the restaurant to others for years. Farewell to my beloved Taco Luis, may I find another affordable and customer-focused alternative.
This restaurant is just another taco place in a food court. It wasn't crowded and the option to load up with veggies made it somewhat healthy. The food was good and the service was quick. Definitely better than Taco Bell.
Even though we had already finished our dinner for the evening, we decided to stop by the food court for a cup of coffee and to give our tired feet a break. After a while, I started craving the crispy beef burritos from Taco Luis. However, I was disappointed to see that the burritos had gotten smaller, with very little ground beef filling, and the salsa was now watered down. Additionally, the price had gone up.
We stopped in the mall food court and wanted to get a quick dinner without much hassle. On the menu board, behind the counter, there was advertised "Chicken or Beef Fajitas, with beans and rice. I ordered that, and the clerk said that they didn 't sell that. I pointed to the sign behind the counter and it was clear that she had no idea what fajitas were. She then tried to put the ingredients into a tortilla. When I said the tortilla was normally given to the customer unfilled, that completely was not acceptable to her. She had no idea what fajitas were. This is mostly a Chinese and Vietnamese community and it was obvious that was not part of their culture. I got the ingredients on my plate, finally got a tortilla and basically, it was just awful. I should have known better.
Given that it was lunch time and I was in Lansdowne Centre I decided upon Mexican to satisfy my appetite. A wrap, tater tots and a drink set me back less than $9.00. The wrap was not as good as Wen used to make them but still satisfying.
