Bidrage med feedbackCame with some friends who come a lot and they have made me try the big baked fish! They wrap it with rice paper, nudge, and the toppings / vegetables and it is perfect for family style. it is a fun time to make your own roll, and it was great! also this place is byob interested for those. a good experience with good service food.
Food is very authentic. One of our favorite restaurants that taste like your parents kitchen!!
We love this place for their baked catfish! Catfish came out to be so crunchy and the umami's sauce! The dipping sauce was so good it's very umami. You roll it with rice paper, noodles and vegetables! I always dropped by here when I'm in Dallas area! Very nice restaurant and friendly staff! Big fish feeds about 4 adults and takes about 25-30 minutes to cook and cost $63 a large fish! Definitely a must try experience for people visiting this area!
Went to check out this restaurant a couple weeks ago because I saw that they had Nem Nuong Cuon. It was during a Sunday that we decided to drop by and try out their food, and it was PACKED. Luckily we were able to be seated fairly promptly, and the server who helped us was quick to take our order. Unfortunately, they did NOT have what I came to the restaurant for. They only offered 2 of their appetizers by the time we were there. We were never given an explanation for it, so it could have been out of stock or considering the crazy shipment schedules to consider nowadays. Either way, it can't be helped that the one star I'm knocking off is due to some disappointment mixed with food regret. However, with all that said, what we DID end up getting from their menu more than hit the mark and fully met and exceeded my expectations! I ordered one of their rice dishes with pork and egg cake. This dish immediately quelled my cravings, as the seasoning on the meat, freshness of the vegetables, and perfectly steamed broken rice were a perfect compliment to each other. But what totally stole the show was not my entree. In fact, what makes me crave going back already is their wings! Specifically the garlic butter flavor. Their wings are on par with Mike's (if you know, you know). Wings come out INSANELY hot and steaming, it's almost impossible to dig in to them the moment they arrive at your table. But after that initial heat, the wings embody the crispiness and juiciness you could only hope to have in all wings. The flavor was simple but satisfying, and they give you a dish of salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lime for dipping. Absolute perfection. I will definitely come back again for redemption on the Nem Nuong Cuon, but most importantly to eat those wings again.
We order for take out a seafood and pork vermicelli (Bun Mam). Eating half way through and we found this insect/bug cockroach inside the broth... immediately throw everything away..will never come back here ever. Feel sick to my stomach just by thinking about it again while writing this. Now I'm not even sure if my health is gonna be ok eating like half of the soup while that bug is still inside
