Canton Chef - Ribble Valley

This is the center of town and has a broad menu. My favourites are with Brown Bean sauce/basic Chinese Curry but most meals are very good.

Nice Lancashire village, enjoy a visit of the castle, you will have a nice view to Forest of Bowland and Pendle. Nice shops and Pub around the area

A really nice town, lots of independant shops as well as many high street chains. Plenty of places to get a coffee. Visited the museum at the castle, well worththe entrance fee.

I have been buying Chinese scoff at this place since 1987. it is almost always perfect and the Curried Chicken, Beef in Black Bean sauce... almost anything are good. But recently it is hardly ever open. A notice suddenly appears on the front window: Due to unforeseen circumstances, shut until 23/10 . Not for the first time. Shame because the food is good value.

If you want high-end chinese food, this probably isn't the place for you. But it's cheap and there is nothing wrong with the food. The only issue is that only take away and if you are mobile, The Great Wall (about 3 miles away) is a MUCH better chinese restaurant (and it's actually a restaurant as well as a take away.
