Bidrage med feedbackOrdered some food with my friends there, waited for one hour to get some sandwiches, in answer only vague excuses then rude behaviour of the waitress. The waitress was all the time taking off her mask and cleaning her nose, at the same moment, serving tables and making coffees. Afterwards the waitress was asked to provide an invoice repeatedly, she had also difficulties to fulfill this task. This cafe was a complete frustration. Lack of service, incompetent personal, mediocre food.
Great for a cold beer, a scoop or two of overpriced ice cream, or a bowl of gazpacho soup when wandering around this magnificent village. The restaurant is located right at the footsteps to the ladder leading to the castle, so the location can't be beat. Speaking of which, nothing beats gazpacho on a 102 degree day, and the Casa’s version was okay not great. It had a creamy tomato base and a few chunks of vegetables to add texture. My beer was overkill and oversized. I wish they had offered smaller ones. My wife’s ice cream was Carte d’Or from France, so nothing local or homemade but still a good brand. Prices weren’t super high but certainly marked up given the location.
Small, nestled near the castle and looking what it is: a cafeteria with large wooden tables and parasols but very friendly staff and near-normal prices, i.e. not tourist-milking! For a quick snack, perfect!
