The Oast House - Redditch

My parents live close to The Oast House but have never tried it before so having spend a few days staying with me down on the South Coast, on bringing them back home I suggested we pop in and try it. The restaurant was quite...quiet but the staff very friendly, attentive and helpful. What can I say... the food was first class indeed my dad said it was the best Sunday Roast he'd ever had (quickly adding away from home' before my mom could be offended We all had the beef which was cut nice and thickly, with a couple of roast and new potatoes on the plate and a side bowl of vegetables. They even bought my dad an extra jug of gravy! All of the food was cooked lovely, and they beef cuts were perfect. After finishing our meal, we joked that we hadn't even asked the price and my dad said he was expected at least a tenner as they go to local carveries and pay that sort of amount. You can imagine his surprise (and my delight as I was paying! when the bill came and the meals were each excellent value for a Sunday Roast these days. As locals, they will definitely be coming back once the restrictions have eased but in the meantime I suspect they'll be trying out the takeaway options! Top class, high quality food. We can all highly recommend The Oast House.

Went to take my family for Sunday lunch an as we've walked in there's big German shepherd's what are dripping wet an **** stunk! As my daughter has a dog allergy I thought dogs wasn't allowed in food pubs was very disappointed an will...never use again.

We attended here beginning of December, and although from Redditch I hadn't been for years, food was lovely ,and reasonable prices.Although where we sat the upholstery was absolutely disgusting!! And if I'm honest really put myself and husband off returning. It's always been very...clicky and still is!!

Whilst staying at hotel nearby, ventured further a field to dine, what a find... Fantastic, friendly atmosphere , the food is prepared and presented well, I am in the area again next week, will definitely be calling in again. SUPERB
