Cafe Palms - Raumati Beach

What to do on a really wet Kapiti Coast mōrena ....... go out for breakfast. Todays kai and kāwhe was enjoyed at #cafepalms Lovely Cafe situated at Kapiti Lights. A number of locals were already there, enjoying their kāwhe and light banter while reading the morning paper. Ka pai menu, plenty of seating in and out, lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent, Kai was delicious, kāwhe was ka pai and the smoothie tasty. Went for brekkie good size portioned meal coffee superb.

Amazing bacon butty and chicken burger. Good coffee. Service was a little lacking and the seasoning on the chips was wrong. The mismatched cups and saucers offended my OCD. Mine matched but my daughter's didn't. They needed to both match or neither match, but that is more my issue than theirs.

Plain simple café that we managed to find by accident. A little dated looking but clean and tidy. Food was warm and reasonably priced. It is the first big breakfast I have had in a while which came with baked beans. Recommended.
