Bidrage med feedbackFriendly humble family restaurant, not too far from the bridge. (The passing boats are loud. Great for a stop for Omlette and Pad Thai. My son had a great lunch he said.
There is a lot of food service such as padthai with shrimp, papaya salad, hot curry iron fry with shrimp, etc. The food is so delicious and clean. I received warm welcome from nice owner, they cooked the food themselves with love. Old traditional Thai food served. In addition, this place had the plans and activities for Thai and foriegn tourist.
This was the GREATEST in our Bangkok visit. We weren't here long, but we tried our share of places. This amazing lady welcomes you, serves and cooked almost on the counter.... Although the menu appears as just a few plates, we could get a great vegetarian dish with tofu. My dish was with shrimps and she gave me only 3 and still I am happy with what I got. I can't say I'm an expert, but the balance of taste, textures and cooking time was just perfect for us. Do not expect all foods to come out simultaneously. Don't expect a waitress. Not many beers. Just Chiang. Delicious food and drinks for two, for less than $10 USD. Unbelievable!! I saw a local guide eating here.... It was worth something for me. When we went to the place, we thought it was closed so that we almost go away, losing this amazing opportunity. it is a bit further down from the bridge exit as google says. She speaks little English. If you don't speak Thai, you'll be over. I'm a TOURIST and accept it.
Nice place, good food and very nice people. Learn to cook Pad Thai and Papaya Salad...
Such a cute and delicious spot for green curry! The chef was so sweet and gracious to us. Only 140 baht for a green curry and fried/sticky/jasmine rice $5!! and she gave us complimentary tea. Nice getaway from the touristy parts of the floating market.
