Try the Borscht, the perogies, the stuffed cabbage rolls. And be sure to save room for dessert! This is a must for anyone who enjoys home cooked Polish cuisine.
Craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed today. The debit machine wasn’t working and an employee or owner not sure which one, starting swearing at us and telling us to go F$ ourselves while flipping us off. He actually chased us out of the building with is fist cocked back. All this in front of customers and my 18 month old daughter. Was having a good breakfast with friends until this crazy person started loosing his mind. I propose an all out boycott on this place until this person is removed. Not the first time I’ve heard things of this nature from others.
We attempted to pay our bill, but the debit machine was unable to connect to the internet. The owner then came out and rudely asked us to leave his establishment, using inappropriate language and gestures towards us. It was clear that he is not mentally stable and should not be managing a restaurant. Additionally, the food we had was not very good.
A true mom and pop dining restaurant. Linen and wonderful views of Hammond river flood plains. Food is entirely made on site for authentic Polish cuisine as well as some basic North America dishes. You will be warmly greeted and well looked after. It is licensed with wine and beer. There are traditional Polish brands available. Love the experience
Tried to get some information about their breakfast menu with the possibility of bring a party of 20 for breakfast. When I asked if the menu was available online I was told it was not and that I should visit the restaurant as he didn't have half an hour to advise over the phone and promptly hung up. This is a remote location not in the neighborhood. Wish I could have given 0 stars missed opportunity loser
