El Coloso Arenal - Quesada

We traveled to Costa Rica and stayed near Hotel. One of our guides recommended this restaurant. This is probably the best restaurant we have eaten during our trip. It's a little mother and pop place. Authentic delicious food. When we visited Costa Rica, we wanted to taste the real local food and we got it here. Our waitress, Karina, was great! She spoke English and gave us a menu in English that was a great help. She was very patient and friendly with us. The food and service was amazing here!

Great place for local food and fresh juice! I had passion fruit and it was amazing and simply perfect to enjoy during the visit. My fried fish was delicious and crispy.

We stopped here as part of a tour with Green Vacations. If this had not been pre-ordered, we might never have discovered this particular place. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and we had a wonderful time here! Priscilla, one of the owners, keep at our table to welcome and review us. She let us know that this is a family business, and customer satisfaction is very important to them. This is the kind of food I will remember when we return home to the USA. I highly recommend visiting here before going somewhere else.

We came with family of 11. We ordered a variety of dishes which were all very tasty. Friendly, family owned staff. Great drinks whether natural fruit drinks or cocktails. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to visit Arenal.
