Bidrage med feedbackOkay let's strike while the iron is hot. Tried Marvin for the first time. Traveled 30 miles to give it a shot. Got Pizza and Wings. Was definitely expecting a little more flavor from the wings. Overall, I gotta say the pizza was much better, but whenyou make a $33 dollar pizza and $16 of it is toppings. You expect a little more than 1 or 2 pepperonis per slice. Was verydisappointed when I first saw the pepperoni count, but the taste made up for it. The crust is fantastic, great crunch and zeroflop, definitely the highlight of the pizza. Cheese coverage was good, a little light on the sauce, not bad. I do see why somepeople consider it one of the better pizzas in the area. The taste is there, but not the best. Especially when you factor in theprice. Some people would find this combo a little salty.
The best pizza in Rhode Island and a strong contender against the best pizza in New York City. The owner, Robert, was kind and hospitable. We particularly enjoyed the square slices. The outdoor seating in Marvin's garden, my favorite Monopoly piece, was a delightful experience enhanced by the great playlist.
The pizza here is fantastic, especially the Pepperoni slice. The Roni island pizza is also delicious. The wings are phenomenal and the Weenie Fries, while unique to Rhode Island, are a standout dish in their own right.
Is it the best pizza in the world? Who am I to say for sure. But it?s the best I?ve ever had. I spent 2 days in Providence and ate there twice. The burrata pizza by the slice is next level. The pesto was super tasty and the crust steals the show. Thecocktails and soft serve are also delicious. I can?t wait to go back.
I am leaving a review for the pizza, not for the wings I had. I think the concept of taco wings is great, but as a restaurant owner myself, I feel that the wings could use a bit more Spanish seasoning, such as oregano and sazón. I really enjoyed the pizza, with its thick slice, perfect charred crust, and good selection of drinks. To the cook, I suggest trying out my seasoning suggestions to see the difference. I am not trying to tell you how to cook your food, just offering a suggestion so that it can fly out the door.
