Best part they served us with their new receipe of home style chicken which was so overwhelming in taste and the way their customer service was. Last and the best the desert, buns with condensed milk. Omg ! So amazing. I liked the fried buns more.
Mixed reviews of this establishment. The food was average, nothing special. We ordered the pork chive leek buns that came out steaming to the max but sadly lacked the vital flavor pork buns have. I had to add vinegar to taste. I next ordered the sautéed BBQ meat lamb (sizzling hot plate) with a side of white rice. The dish smelled better than it tasted. The dish consisted of excessive amounts of oil that hardly tasted like much. Medium/ large portion, big enough to share. BYOB, dog-friendly for patio.
The food was tasty and good quantity for the price we paid. The service was quick too. I tried the chongqing street noodles and the eggplant with garlic sauce. I liked the noodles, but didn?t really care for the eggplant. The ambience is beautiful! Also, there is only metered parking available near the restaurant, so plan accordingly. I think at least on the day we visited (Sunday) there was plenty parking parking spots available.
Found a hair on the bottom of rice bowl. The food we ordered was below average. They put way too much peppercorns than red pepper in dishes. The restroom is nasty, and no paper towel. Won?t come back anymore. But still tipped 15% for lunch.
The place is pricey and the amount of food is relatively small. But I still give this place 5 stars as the food is really authentic and delicious. The noodles are all very spicy and the broth is really good.
