Casa Zoraya - Portland

Holy holy this place is AMAZING!!! Haven’t written a restaurant review in a while, but I had to come give it some love. I had the ceviche, and the vegetarian empanadas. Pictured is the mushroom entree, which was also amazing. But the CEVICHE- oh my god. The dance of flavors in your mouth- seriously, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Not to mention the passion fruit pisco sour- my friend remarked that it was one of the best cocktails she’d had in Portland- and I’d have to agree. Could easily drink a jug of them. Hidden gem, owned by a Peruvian family (word is), must eat here. Next time will take more photos of all dishes- but was too absorbed in enjoying it this time.

Make reservations! This is a popular spot and given the quality of the food and the excellent service it comes as no surprise. The steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare and juicy but not too soft. The empanadas were warm, fluffy, with great pastry texture and great filling. The ceviche is amazing, with a nice citrus bite. Will def eat here again.

Amazing. We will be back. We ordered ceviche, a special beet and cheese salad, chicken empanadas, and diver scallops.

Some of the best Peruvian food I’ve tried. Great vegan options. So tasty and delicious! Outdoor seating was great, heaters available.

AMAZING. Best food I've had in Portland. Staff is wonderful. Drinks were superb. Can't say enough about my experience.
