Red Lobster Portage

Had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience last night for my Valentine's Day. Grant went beyond and beyond and was very easy to speak. By far my best experience with Red Lobster still.

We arrived early and sat right away. The food was great and plentiful.

In 2018, I had a Connecticut style lobster roll for the first time. Since, I have been obsessed. I had not been Red Lobster since the 1980s, so I have been talking about checking it out for a couple of years. The idea was a bit of a retro novelty, but my actual experience exceeded my expectations. I had a lobster tail, crab legs, Walt's shrimp, fried shrimp, a baked potato, and broccoli. Oh, I also had a 20 ounce beer! How could I forget that? I loved this meal, and my brother and husband loved their entrees as well. Our server was attentive and sweet. She even appreciated my husband's lobster shirt and my lobster dress, which we wore to celebrate our Red Lobster day. What a great experience!

The experience was average, but the service was incredibly slow. The food was just okay and nothing stood out as exceptional. I would consider going back, but not in the near future or on a regular basis. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The crab legs could have had more meat, but they were still fantastic!
