Shark Reef Resort - Port Aransas

Don't know where to start but me and my family have been coming here for 20 plus years and there hasn't been a moment were we have had any problems with with the staff or rooms it's a pleasure to come here every time and get treated like family we love and enjoy every moment when we come out here to Port Aransas this is our to go spot i give it a 5 plus stars

There is sand EVERYWHERE. It's in whatever food (if that's what u could call it) u decide to endure. Its in the folds of ur skin. It's in ur toothpaste. On ur deodorant bar. Embedded onto the toilet paper. In the crows feet wrinkles on ur eyes. Along with the exuberant amount of salt it runs aloof in ur underpants. By far more like finding nemos reef resort. Bunk..

This place just robbed my parents for their MONEY! Very rude staff especially over the phone when my mom tried to cancel our rooms she put my mom on hold just to CHARGE my moms card! I highly recommend y’all not to book here just completely horrible, basically robbed my parents of $200, their own HARD WORKING MONEY! Now they won’t even pick up the phone after they hung up on my mom without giving her any explanation. WHAT A SHAME!

Horrible HORRIBLE PLACE. These people basically just ROBBED US out of our money!!!! $200 That we CAN NOT get back. We decided to ask about canceling, because something came up, they put us on hold, while on hold they charged OUR CARD cause we told them we were thinking about canceling!!! Granted we booked WEEKS AGO, we decided not to go and they basically told us Oh Well and BOOM charged us anyways. What makes it even worse, we told them ok fine, we 'll go. The lady said NOPE, to late. So not only are we out of OUR HARD WORKING money, we cant even use the room either. We were going for a family reunion and now we 're out $200 and rooms for the weekend. My family books here a lot. Looks like we 're going elsewhere from now on. BEWARE OF THEM STEALING YOUR MONEY GUYS. NEVER AGAIN!!!!And YES it is ROBBERY when you TAKE OUR MONEY AND WILL NOT let us use the rooms after all. ROBBERY!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE and I love y 'all 's copy and paste replies. Shows even more how you run things there

Whoever is working this front desk is very rude. First time ever trying to book here and not a good experience. I specifically went through my reservation details before hanging up and specifically asked if it was ok to cancel within 24 hours....whether she heard wrong or just rudely was rushing me off the phone, the rude lady answered yes! I call to inquire about canceling and was charged for a day after being placed on hold just for her to charge my card and then come back on the line to continue to be rude and hang up on me. Tried to call back to ask why my card was charged after I didn't even cancel and my calls were ignored. I not once said ok well im gonna cancel, nor was i given the chance to say just to leave my reservation in place. Not very happy about this and will never recommend this place to anyone. I do not appreciate that you charged my card without my authorization or the chance for me to just allow the reservation to stay in place. So so so unprofessional!!! Took my money, then sit there and say if i don't pay you are going to mark me as a bad guest and I can't book there anymore, yet you place me on hold just to charge my card!!!! ROBBED OF MONEY FOR SOMEONE THAT WAS RUDE AND OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION AND ANSWERED YES TO ANY QUESTION I ASKED!!! Then this same person.....goes on a fb message and admits that I said I wanted to keep my reservation, yet she canceled it before I could even do that because she was upset i even inquired about canceling. My receipt i received through email doesn't even show a cancellation policy on it from the day I made the reservation and I never signed anything!!! Bad bad service!!! Think hard if you ever decide to book here and make sure to read ALL the bad reviews they try to hide. Let alone the comments they delete on their social media and block the person trying to warn others!!
