Hidden Treasure Rum Bar Grill Restaurant

Really disappointed! After an extended wait my wife ordered coconut shrimp just to be told they are out of coconut shrimp. Oh and they were out of French fries! How can you be out of French fries? My blacked grouper Reuben was pretty bad. Small piece of fish on bread that was hard as a rock. The fish dip appetizer was ok at best. My wife substituted sweet potato fries and they came out cold. They did bring a hot batch when we complained and they were good. Even the hush puppies tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Won’t be back

Hidden Treasure Bar/Restaurant is a delightful spot on the Halifax River, perfect for unwinding with a cocktail. The location is superb, offering plenty of extended parking, which is always a plus. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, with ample seating both inside and out, allowing you to enjoy your meal in comfort. The bar itself exudes a charming beachy vibe, adding to the overall laid-back feel of the place. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning river views that enhance the dining experience. The menu is diverse and well-crafted, offering a great selection of delicious dishes and refreshing cocktails. Whether you're looking to relax by the water or enjoy a casual meal, Hidden Treasure is a fantastic choice. The only downside is that weekends can get quite crowded, making it difficult to find parking. Also, we wait for someone to bring out the food is long. Burgers came with pickles when we asked for none. But Hidden Treasure is a gem worth discovering.

We had a 40 minute wait, which was no big deal because there was a playground across the street and the lighthouse to see. Once we were seated, we waited over an hour once we ordered our food. The food was okay, but definitely not worth waiting that long for shrimp tacos, fried fish, and a kids Mac and cheese. Our waitress was very nice and brought us free hush puppies (btw, they were really good) and the manager did take off 15% from our tickets. I would come back and try it again in hopes that service would be better because the manager and waitress were very accommodating with the delay and having a hangry toddler.

We had a table of 4. The food was good the service was good. One of the people in our group ordered all you can eat shrimp. The first order came out in a timely manner. When we asked for another order it took more than 35 minutes. If you are advertising all you can eat. Be prepared to take care of your customers I have been here many times. Not sure if I will return.

Great place. great food. however... when our server spilled soda water all over my mom, my sister, and me, we were understanding BUT we were charged $10 for the soda water?? I've never been charged for plain old soda water, let alone soda water that was spilled on us.
