Keel - Playa del Carmen

We started with a drink in the roof top bar upstairs. The keel was a beautiful location on deck right on the beach. Food was really delicious, and attentive service. Cool menu system on iPads. A very pleasant evening

Avoid at all costs. We made a reservation here based on the ability to get outdoor seating and their menu. 1. I ordered the salmon (medium) and asparagus which came with 2 pieces of asparagus and one bite into my salmon I realized it was cold in the middle, not even slightly warm. I sent it back to the kitchen and they brought back out the same piece back out after they microwaved it. No thanks, that’s so gross. I was expecting a new piece. 2. We we were seated for our 8:00pm and still had not received our drink order by 8:25 and there were only three other tables of people 3. The wine list didn’t match what they had stocked and what they had was very limited 4. Beware that the menu has changed completely They did comp our two glasses of wine and didn’t charge us for the salmon. I declined any additional entrees and found an alternative spot near our hotel for some tacos. A major disappointment for a place that is right on the ocean.

Very nice place. Everything was excelent. We were celebrating two anniversaries with 36 people. They manage to do a service beyond our expectations.

El servicio fue realmente malo, tardaron mucho en atendernos incluso cuando el restaurante no estaba muy lleno. Hice una reserva especial y nunca se hicieron cargo de nosotros.

La comida es correcta, pero no más que eso. La relación calidad-precio es demasiado cara.
