Ihop - Pittman

3/1/2024: For a restaurant whose specialty is pancakes, I'm hoping this was either an off day or their cook was new. These were the worst buttermilk pancakes we've ever had. They appeared to be cooked, but the top layer peeled off when cut into. After a couple chews, it was just a partially cooked pancake. My dining partner's was the same.Our server was nice and offered a replacement. Since waffles may have the same issue, we chose French toast. Order went thru rather quickly. My 3 pancakes were exchanged for 1 piece of French toast. Hardly an equal swap, but by this time, I just wanted something to eat and leave.The French toast was an improvement, but hardly a home run. It was a nicely cooked piece of thick Texas toast, but no vanilla or cinnamon flavoring. I guess they rely on the syrup to provide flavor??My partner ordered decaf coffee. Didn't expect a Starbucks flavor, but tasted more like coffee grounds.In all, a disappointing breakfast on a cold, rainy day.

I love ihop but this place isnt honest about their hours. Its supposed to be open until 2:00. I came at 12:00 to find them locking the door in front of me. Its fine, just go to waffle house for late nights.

Ayo was amazing, kind attentive she deserves 5 stars! Writing this review so the rude dismissive manager doesn’t take it out on her for US doing the wrong thing when trying to pay at the front (the process for every IHOP I’ve ever been to)

Great spot to stop and great some breakfast when I'm working on this side of town. The 6am opening is awesome....
