Typical buffet with many options (to go with tortillas) in a huge salon! There is a private parking lot. The participants were very friendly.

Excellent buffet. great drinks. Music and dance. Delicious food. good service, but asking for tips in mexico is not to my wishes.

Plenty of choices at a nice lunch buffet. It was a casual and fun place after visiting Chichen Itza. I saw some criticism on TripAdvisor about expectation of tips. There was a guy holding a container for tips for musicians as we entered restaurant, but...no one was performing while we ate, so I didn’t feel compelled to tip. I noticed when they put a basket on the table for tips at the end of lunch. In defense of this, I will suggest that perhaps with language barriers, maybe diners mistakenly thought that tips were included staff decided to put out baskets so tips were not overlooked?? At other restaurants, this was not the practice. (I googled “customary gratuities in Mexican restaurants” learned it is 10-20% for tipping. So we were prepared. Go have fun and tip the servers!!

As part of a private tour through Chitchen Itza we were brought to the lunch buffet. Pretty simple. The pig was the specialty and was very good. Lunch was included, but we paid $6 per for small bottles of water. There is one floor... show and gift shop.
