Trattoria Rifugio Carota

We visit northern Italy every year and there region Alpago. On the mountain Dolada Rifugio Ristorante Carota is always the most important food experience in Alpago. I wrote previous reviews of Carota and I don't have much more to say, but to convince that... this is really good restaurant in every way. Eating is Cucina Italiano and represents the best quality of it and it is in the north style. If you're visiting there and you're guilty of what I doubt, you blame me.

We visited Rifugio Carota for many times. The first visit was in 1988 for three weeks and after twenty years, since 2006 we have been there every summer. Carota is located on the mountain of Dolada at the level of Aprox. 1000 meters. Carota is and... was led by a family Pellegrinotti, including two brothers, their mother, women and daughter. There is also the possibility for a very good standard accommodation in the restaurant building or in a house opposite. Service in Carota stands for the best quality. The interior of this restaurant was well maintained. The menu is a cultivation of the Northern Italian cuisine and I think that if you are a fan of Italian cuisine, it is quite difficult to be disappointed after the whole meal of antipasti to dolce. Most of the diners are locals who are also good about Carota and it is worth. Price for the whole dinner with wine varies between 50 to 80 € for two people and it is worth it. I sincerely recommend Carota for all who are interested in good Nordic cuisine.
