La Pecora Nera Bottega Gastronomica Osteria

While passing through Pienza we couldn't find a place that wasn't fully booked, but fortunately we came across this small tavern and after a bit of waiting the very friendly managers made us sit in the room, which was very small but equally characteristic. We enjoyed excellent Tuscan cuisine, with well-made dishes, in particular I recommend the truly excellent ribollita and the crostoni mixed with the excellent local cured meats and cheeses. Meat main courses are also good although perhaps they are a little too salty. The house wine is excellent. Overall experience I recommend! Excellent small tavern but with excellent traditional food, especially the platter of cured meats and cheeses with superlative jams, not least the ribollita and polenta with melted pecorino and bacon and I forgot the house wine which makes itself felt when you get up, and then the owners have a unique friendliness if you are in Pienza go there I recommend booking Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
