Bidrage med feedbackWhen you are biking in the rain and cold, you want to find a warm place to renew your energy and the OpenStudio Art Café is it, both figuratively and literally. You can't go wrong stopping by for coffee and cake. And if you have the chance, talk to the owner, Michelle, a really nice person.
Michele and her staff make SUPERB espresso coffee. We are Kiwi's visiting family and one thing us NZ'ers miss most is being able to get a great coffee, they are about but you need to dig to find them. Look no further if you are in Frenchman's Bay and are hanging out for a Latte, Flat White or Espresso.OPEN STUDIO Art Cafe is not to be passed.Great little spot big on service and as it isn't a franchise operation it has its own unique intimate atmosphere. I understand OSAC is also open throughout the winter! Highly recommend you stop here when next in Frenchmans Bay.
This little café has proved a real winner for my friends, my wife and me on bike excursions along the Waterfront Trail. We always get a great cup of coffee and a comfortable place to sit and socialize while we drink it.
If I'm looking for a longer bike ride, I've wound up a couple of times at Frenchman's Bay in Pickering, just at the foot of Liverpool Road. And since it's a ride out from home, it's usually time to get something to snack on, and OpenStudio Art Cafe is a great place for that. Coffee? Got it -- and it's delicious. My favourite food here are the grilled paninis made with naan bread. Delicious, oozing with cheese, and nicely grilled. The owner is a lovely woman who is hospitable and charming. It makes it worth the ride out there.Nice little patio, if you can grab a seat, to spend some time on.
Open Sunday morning when little else is open. Good espresso and lemon cake slices. Comfortable indoor and outside seating. Recommended.
