Puerto Rico Latin Grill - Phoenix

I am Puerto Rican and am very picky about my Puerto Rican food. Let me tell you right now they did not disappoint at all. Especially with some of the key dishes like Pastelles and Pernil they hit the mark perfect on all dishes and I ordered good amount. I order the traditional holiday Puerto Rican meal. Arroz con gandiles, Pernil, Pastele, tostones con ajo, un Alcapurria and a Malta to wash it all down. Yes I ate all that and Yes it was delicious. They also sent a small side salad but I cant tell you what that ws about because I was focused on the real deal lol. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the nostalgic trip to a good home cooked Puerto Rican meal. Do not hesitate to try this place. Also they forgot my Cola Champaña but the food was good I dont even care lol.

The Pernil Pork Arroz Blanco y Habichuelas White Rice and Beans Arroz con Gandules Rice with Pigeon Peas Empanadas....Omg JUST like back home! So grateful for the hardworking chefs that made such delicious food! Pernil Pork is an art. I cant tell you how often it is made too dry. But this Pernil Pork was cooked to perfection!!!! 5 stars easy!!

Everything was absolutely delicious.... Im so glad I chose this place for lunch! More than enough food was provided. kisses to the chef!

Our order of Bistec Encebollado Steak with Onions was delicious, ample portion for two people to share. Meal came with fresh salad. We also enjoyed the crispy platanos with garlic sauce. Im saving Pernil Pork for tomorrow. Gracias.

I normally dont make reviews, but this place definitely deserves it. I was visiting the area and wanted some comfort food. I got a pretty large order, including the Alcapurria , Bistec Encebollado Steak with Onions with rice and beans, yucca , Pastele for myself, and Pollo Frito Fried Chicken with rice and beans for my son. It was so dam good I literally forgot I was in Arizona lol !! Bistec Encebollado Steak with Onions was juicy and not dry. Pollo Frito Fried Chicken was well seasoned. Pastele had great flavor seasoning. The Alcapurria tasted so good I wished I wouldve ordered 2 because I ended up having to share mine with my 3yr old lol Im puerto rican and from Florida so obviously when you travel to other places you dont wanna get disappointed but after reading their reviews and trying it for myself. Trust me dont think about it too hard just order their food you wont regret it and youll thank me later. lol
