Poncho's - Pharr

We had a party of ten and we sat right away. The hot sauce was too hot for everyone to eat. Then the good stuff came. We had avocado and melted white cheese with chorizo. Homemade hot tortillas. [UNLIMITED TORTILLAS] We ordered one of the family plates that came with steak, chicken and shrimp. Pages were rice and beans. Everything was good. Steak was tender. Shrimp was perfectly grilled. Chicken was good little pieces. Great taste. Will definitely come back when in this area again. The service was also EXCELLENT.

Service is free, but I visited them several times for the breakfast buffet and they always seem to have the same food... More variety would really help them get back.

Ok I've seen some negative comments here... Number 1 of salsa is not too hot and everything I had was delicious fresh and hot!!! I think some of Tre other commentators are either much too picky or just find something to bring restaurants. I enjoyed everything and come back when I'm in the valley!
