Trattoria La Collina - PESCAGLIA

Excellent food. Great service. Great value. Unusual beer options and nice local wine. Nice location and a great host. Modern cuisine combined with traditional tastes!

We were staying in the village of Loppeglia and were lucky enough to have this fantastic restaurant on our doorstep. The staff were extremely friendly and competent (great at English! and the chef very skilled- she even came out personally to ask us how our food was. Some of us picked the tourist menu which went down very well- with 4 courses and a drink included at a very good price. The pasta was so fresh and the sauces were delicious. The surroundings made it an extremely enjoyable experience and we can definitely recommend this place!

My husband was satisfied with his gnocchis but I found my pasta overcooked and the sauce was very light of taste. Our main meal was tasty. The price was very reasonable.

Questa sera sono stato alla trattoria/birrificio La Collina, scoperta per caso mentre passeggiavo a Loppeglia durante il carnevale. Il locale è molto bello e accogliente, arredato con gusto. Ero accompagnato da mia figlia e la sua compagna, e eravamo tutti curiosi di assaggiare le birre premiate di Alessandro. Abbiamo assaggiato quattro birre alla spina, accompagnate da una bottiglia di alta fermentazione Hildegard. Prima di iniziare la cena, abbiamo avuto modo di capire come le birre vengono prodotte sul posto. Come antipasto abbiamo gustato porcini, ricotta e taglierina di ottima qualità, seguiti da tordelli e risotto con panna di zucca e taglio e, infine, una prelibata cucina fiorentina accompagnata da patate sabbiose. Abbiamo concluso la cena con il dessert tipico di Loppeglia, consigliato da Alessandro insieme a una grappa. Il conto è stato onesto considerando la qualità dei piatti e delle birre, il tutto arricchito dalla cortesia e professionalità di Alessandro e Paola. Un'esperienza assolutamente da consigliare e sicuramente da ripetere!

We were blown away by the amazing foods and drinks in this restaurant. we are vegetarian and the menu was so interesting and varied, we could not believe our luck. we had tasted and crawled before the place, which tasted like never before. they also make their own beer, so delicious and perfectly matched our meal. so a shame that we can't jump on a plane and go every week! thank you for the hospitality!
