Bidrage med feedbackThe plates are more than enough for the average person. Kids menu has a good variety of food other than traditional Mexican. Great food and service
Food was surprisingly not bad. They say you eat with your eyes first... didn't expect much walking in. But what they were lacking in decor and ambience, they made up for in service and preparation. Food came out in timely fashion for the entirerestaurant and wasn't half bad.
Love this restaurant!! Best Mexican food in Perry. I like a salsa that I can eat buckets of (you know, one that you are not going to feel the next day) Mariachi has that kind of salsa. Huge variety on menu! Large portions. In fact, I can usually maketwo meals out of my order. They also are very good about fulfilling any special requests you have. I am VERY finicky, and I amthe worst about changing up the menu. They never bat an eye. However you want it, they make it. So if you have foodrestrictions I'm sure they can accommodate. I know they have vegetarian options as well because I had a friend get thevegetarian fajitas and she loved them! From the outside it may not look like a place you would stop at if exiting the highway. It is just a little hole in the wall. But I promise, if you are traveling and need a dinner break, this is the place to stop. They also have take out.
This unpretentious restaurant had a rustic atmosphere, extensive menu, good food, and quick service. It was hopping but with seats available on a Saturday evening. I ordered the pork chili verde (with beans, rice, and corn tortillas); my wife had a beanburrito and mushroom quesadilla. The chili verde was the best restaurant version I've ever eaten because they simmered the porkin the sauce rather than simply ladling sauce over cooked pork as so many other restaurants do.
If you?re on I-35, passing through Perry, this is a great place to eat. We started with their beef dip which was great. In addition to the standard salsa, they had 2 other spicier salsas that had amazing flavor. These salsas will drain your sinusesbut aren?t so spicy that you can no longer taste your meal. What looks like finely diced carrot is actually habanero pepper sojust be aware: they are spicy salsas. I had a combo plate with a tostada, burrito, and enchilada. I really enjoyed the quesosauce and how they prepared the meat. The sides of rice and beans were also good. Mrs. Flip Out tried the chimichanga and reallyliked it. Little Flip Out loved his taco. Definitely great Mexican food at Mariachi Mexican Grill and you will enjoy your meal.
